The Youth Justice Pilot Program – Experience The Change (ETC)

Following the initial stakeholder meeting on Monday 22 June 2009, the second stakeholder community meeting was held last week on Wednesday 22 July. The final implementation of the ETC program is coming together and what is fantastic to see is that all aspects of the Community are actively involved in this process.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the opportunity to share the latest and exciting news. We are very fortunate to have confirmation from the Attorney General’s Department advising us that Mr Rob Hulls, Attorney General has agreed to support the ETC Pilot program. Not only has the Attorney General agreed to support the program, he has requested to attend the official opening ceremony to be held on Thursday 8 October 2009 in Ballarat. All the stakeholders and the Ballarat Community are very excited at the prospect of the Attorney General coming to Ballarat and supporting the Pilot Program.

It is going to be a very busy next couple of months for the Pro Bono part of DWLL, so watch this space!!!
