It seems the rollback will not stop. Labor will hand back to unions the entitlement to inspect non-union members employee records. Why – because of the unions historical role. Are they kidding?
At a time when Australian Law Reform Commission is suggesting making employee records subject to the Privacy Act, the Rudd Government is going to allow the industrialisation of personal information for union purposes of non-members private records. The term ‘Forward with Fairness’ increasingly looks like a euphemism for “Regress into Darkness”
We must await with baited breath the next roll back.
